JAMES McCLAFFERTY
Retired pharmacist

Burial for James McClafferty will be in Donegal, Ireland.

Mr. McClafferty died of heart complications at the Nazareth House Feb. 9. He was 80.

Mr. McClafferty was born in Donegal, Ireland. He graduated from Skerries College in London, Derry, with a degree in chemistry. After graduation, he worked as a pharmacist.

Mr. McClafferty moved to San Francisco in 1958. He moved to the Nazareth House Chapel (sic) in 1986.

He was fond of animals and enjoyed football, dancing and singing.

He is survived by his wife, Delia, of San Rafael; three daughters, Mary Aquinas, Therese Whooley and Isidore Kelly; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions should be made to the Nazareth House of San Rafael or Carmelite Monastery in Santa Clara.
