LOUIS – Walter E. Louis, retired plumbing contractor, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994, of complications after a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, sons August, Christopher and Daniel, and three children by his first wife, the late Viola, his children Paulette, Jerome and Robert. Another son, the late Phillip, died in 1978. His family was always his first priority, especially his grandchildren. He was a native of San Francisco, aged 80 years. He came to Marin in 1945 to open his plumbing contracting firm in San Anselmo, later moving it to Woodland Avenue in San Rafael.

Friends are invited to attend Rosary Services at 7 p.m. Sunday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel, 270 Miller Ave., Mill Valley. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Hilary’s Church, 761 Hilary Dr., Tiburon. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. Spiritual bouquets or donations to your favorite charity preferred.

An obituary was published in the Feb. 12 issue of the paper.
He enjoyed sailing and ocean racing.
His children were: August of San Jose, Christopher of Denver, Daniel of Los Angeles, Jerome of Guerneville, Robert of Mill Valley and Paulette of Montana.
