WILLIAM NORWOOD BREEZE
William Norwood Breeze of Mill Valley, a Marin resident for 40 years, died Tuesday. He was 70.
Breeze was a descendant of a pioneer San Francisco family. He attended Stanford University where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1934.
He lived in Marin since about 1939.
For many years, Breeze operated a repair shop for competition sports cars in Sausalito. He also was a race car driver.
Breeze also was an avid amateur astronomer.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Whitney Breeze; four sons, William F., Peter, Richard and Joseph Breeze; a daughter, Barbara B. Cadman; and six grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending. The family prefers memorial donations to the Breeze Family College Education Fund.
