FRANCES CLAUDIUS
A private funeral has been held for Frances Pierce Claudius, mother of Priscilla Gray of Fairfax.
Mrs. Claudius died Jan. 10 in Oakland following a long illness. She was 86.
She was born in Eureka and lived most of her life in Oakland. Her late husband, Harold G. “Skip” Claudius, was manager of the Consolidated Milk Producers for many years, and the couple had many friends in the Marin and Sonoma dairy industry.
She also is survived by another daughter, Barbara Maloney of Chicago, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
