JOHN F. HOEPNER
A Memorial Mass for John F. Hoepner of San Rafael will be offered at 8 p.m. Friday in Mission San Rafael Arcangel.
Hoepner, a retired civilian worker in the program accounting department of the engineering office at Hamilton Air Force Base, died Tuesday. He was 67.
He was a native of San Francisco and served during World War II as a civilian in the Military Sea Transport Command. He moved to San Rafael more than 20 years ago. He was a member of the Marin Organ Club and an avid theatergoer.
He left no immediate survivors.
Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. Memorial gifts to the Hanna Boys’ Center or to the American Cancer Society are preferred.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hoepner.
