NAN L. CONKLIN

At her request, no services will be held for Nan L. Conklin of San Rafael.

Mrs. Conklin, a Marin resident for more than 10 years, died last Saturday at a San Rafael convalescent hospital after a brief illness. She was 87.

Mrs. Conklin was a native of Seattle, where she lived on and off for much of her life. She lived in the Philippines in 1916 and 1917 where she worked as a civilian accountant for the Army. She also met her husband, Charles W. Conklin there.

She returned to the Philippines with her husband in 1945 where he served as an Army finance officer for three years. The couple then returned to this country.

She moved to Tucson in 1963 before moving to San Rafael in 1969.

She is survived by two brothers, Peter and Frank Flynn, both of Seattle; a sister, Margaret Flynn of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
