MILTON CLARK

The memorial service for longtime Marin resident Milton Clark of San Rafael will be private.

Clark, 77, died unexpectedly Tuesday at a local hospital.

He had worked 32 years for the Post Office in San Francisco, retiring in 1963. After he retired, he spent eight years driving children in the county’s special education program.

Clark was born and reared in Kentucky, coming to California in 1927. He had lived in Marin since 1936.

He was a member of the Fairfax Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Marguerite Clark; two daughters, Gwen Infante of San Rafael and Phoebe Adams of Bakersfield; two sisters, Margaret Duerson of San Anselmo and Gaylene Norman of Pueblo, Colo.; and four brothers, Roy A. Clark of Sonoma, Curtis and Harry Clark, both of Pueblo, and Ted Clark of Louisburg, Mo.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the Cancer Fund or Shriners’ Hospital in San Francisco.
