ALBERT F. WIECHERT
Graveside services for Albert F. Wiechert, a native of Sausalito, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
Wiechert, 79, died Saturday morning in a Healdsburg convalescent home after a long illness.
The only son of Frank Wiechert, a Sausalito fisherman, Wiechert lived in Sausalito until 1964 when he entered a Sonoma County rest home.
Before his retirement, Wiechert worked as an oiler-wiper in the Sausalito and Tiburon yards of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad.
There are no surviving relatives.
