Old Resident Is Called By Death
George Quadros, 93 years old, a resident of Sausalito for more than 40 years, died at his home here last Friday morning and was buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael, Monday, following services at the Star of the Sea Church at which Father Thomas A. Connolly officiated.
Mr. Quadros had a host of friends in this city. He was a native of St. George Island, in the Azores. He retired from business several years ago.
Surviving him is a widow, Mary J., four (sic) sons – Manuel, Tony, Frank, Leo and Joseph Quadros, and four daughters, Mary Ashoff, Margaret Draper, Rose Bergen and Alice Quadros. He was a member of the U. P. E. C. Society, and always was an active worker for the interests of Sausalito.
Keaton and Dusel, San Rafael undertaking firm, had charge of the funeral arrangements.
