MERLE COLLINS
A Mass of Christian Burial for Merle I. Collins of Greenbrae will be said Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian’s Church in Greenbrae.
Mrs. Collins, 77, died unexpectedly Tuesday in a San Francisco hospital.
She was a retired secretary, having worked many years for Lassen Lumber Co. in San Francisco.
Mrs. Collins was born in Anderson, Shasta County, and was raised there and in Weed, Siskiyou County.
She had lived in Marin about 15 years.
She was a member of St. Sebastian’s Church.
Her husband, Daniel F. Collins, died in 1969.
Surviving are two sisters, Irene Dickson and Bertha White, both of Weed, and two brothers, Ray Watts of Reno and Chester Watts of Hayward.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be in the Anderson Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
