TED WEISSICH Killed on Duty in Germany

First Lieutenant Theodor E. Weissich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodor Weissich, former residents of Mill Valley, now of Eureka, has been killed in action somewhere in Germany. His death occurred late in January.

Weissich was a native of San Francisco and spent his boyhood in Mill Valley, receiving his early education in Mill Valley schools. After graduating from high school in Eureka he entered the University of California, where he completed his third year. He was a member of the Theta Xi fraternity.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Pfc. Daniel Weissich, who is home on furlough, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Weissich of Mill Valley.
