EUGENE CHELINI
Eugene J. Chelini, 74, retired Petaluma teamster, died yesterday at a local convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness.
Chelini was a native of San Francisco and worked there many years as a teamster. He and his wife, Sue, moved to 1272 Marian Way, Petaluma, six years ago.
Chelini was a member of the Dolphin Swimming and Boating Club of San Francisco and a retired member of Teamsters Union Local No. 85.
He is also survived by two sons, Eugene J. Chelini of Peluma and Al J. Chelini of San Jose; two daughters, Verna Phipps of Petaluma and Vicki Rodriguez of San Jose; a sister, Esther O’Conner of Berkeley, and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Sorensen Funeal Home, Petaluma. Private burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family prefers contributions to the American Cancer Society.
