AMY ANNA LAX
Amy Anna Lax, 59, of Kentfield, a housewife, died Thursday at a local hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Lax was the wife of John Stephen Lax, who is retired from the Air Force.
She was a native of San Francisco and had been a resident of Marin for 24 years.
Mrs. Lax was a member of St. Anselm’s Church.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Maryann Brown of Kentfield; two sisters, Mary Simmons of Carlton, Ore., and Katherine Wise of San Bruno; two brothers, John Boot of Millbrae and William Boot of Clear Lake Oaks; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anselm’s Church, San Anselmo. Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Lora, Dale, John and Sean Camden.
