RUTH E. THOMPSON
A funeral for Ruth E. Thompson of Bellflower, Los Angeles County, a former Marin resident for 35 years, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bellflower Brethren Church.
Mrs. Thompson died Wednesday at a Bellflower hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 78.
She was a native of Iowa and moved to California about 40 years ago. She and her husband, Charles F. Thompson, lived in Mill Valley for 35 years. They moved to Bellflower about five years ago.
Thompson died a few years ago.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Charles David Thompson of Norwalk, Los Angeles County, and Don Fletcher Thompson of Arizona; two brothers, Lawrence Carter of Minnesota and Wiley Addis of Ohio; and three grandchildren.
