Funeral Thursday For Father Of Mrs. John MacPhail
Funeral services for Joseph L. Jenkines, Sr., 82, who died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Harry M. Williams mortuary, San Rafael.
Jenkines, a resident of San Rafael for the past 30 years, had made his home with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John MacPhail at 7 Marin street. He was a retired clothier and previous to his retirement he had been employed at Albert’s department store.
A native of Kentucky, he was a member of Muir Lodge No. 136 Knights of Pythias. He was the husband of Zilla M. Jenkines.
He is survived by Mrs. MacPhail and a son, Lee Jenkines, Jr. and four grandchildren, Nancy Jenkines, and Jack, Neil and Bruce MacPhail; and a brother, Bertram C. Jenkines of Santa Rosa.
Burial will be at the family plot at Lodi Cemetery.
