DAGMAR MARIE MAXWELL
A private memorial service has been held for Dagmar Marie Maxwell, 76, of San Francisco, a former dental receptionist in San Rafael.
Mrs. Maxwell, who had worked for her son, Dr. Edward H. Maxwell of San Rafael from 1962 until 1969, died Thursday at her son’s home after a long illness.
Mrs. Maxwell was the widow of Grant Henry Maxwell, a chiropractor.
She was a native of San Francisco and lived in the Bay Area all her life. She was a resident of San Rafael from 1962-69.
Surviving, besides her son, are a daughter, Anne Marie Maxwell of New York City; a sister, Burgess Cogill of San Francisco; and four grandchildren.
Her ashes were to be scattered at sea. The family prefers that memorial contributions be to Lung Association of the Redwood Empire.
