WESLEY C. BIDGOOD
A memorial service for Wesley C. Bidgood, 49, of San Rafael, an airline pilot, was held today at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, San Rafael.
Bidgood, who had been a captain for Trans World Airlines, died Friday in a private plane crash in Solano County.
Bidgood was a native of Nebraska, and was reared in Oregon. He had been a resident of Marin since 1965 and previously had lived in San Francisco.
Surviving are his wife, Claudette Bidgood, of San Rafael; two sons, Mark and Curtis Bidgood, both of San Rafael; and two sisters, Glena Abrahms of Port Orchard, Wash., and Elvir Austin of Salem, Ore.
Burial will be private. The family prefers that memorial contributions be to the San Rafael High School Foundation or Sunny Hills School, San Anslmo
