Wood Chopper is Killed in Accident
Luigi Simoncini, a wood chopper at work on the Bettini ranch in Chileno valley, was instantly killed last Saturday when a tree which he and his helper had felled toppled over and crushed him to the ground. Coroner Sawyer was notified and the inquest was held as soon as he could reach the scene of the accident. Simoncini was about 35 years old and had come to this county from the state of Washington about two months ago. So far as was developed by the testimony, the deceased had no relatives in this country.
