IRENE ZENGLER
A requiem Mass for Irene Zengler, 67, of Novato, a retired businesswoman, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Out Lady of Loretto Church, Novato.
Mrs. Zengler, wife of Pius Zengler, a butcher of 1830 Novato Boulevard, died Tuesday night at a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Zengler and her husband operated a delicatessen store in Novato in the 1950s and she also operated a catering service.
She was a past arch druidess of Sylvan Circle, Order of Druids, and member of Novato Senior Citizens, Novato Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and Golden Gate Council, Order of Foresters.
A native of San Francisco, Mrs. Zengler had lived in Marin for 45 years and in Novato 21 years.
Surviving besides her husband, is a sister, Catherine E. Dowling of San Francisco.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Redwood Chapel Funeral Home, Novato.
