SAMUEL O. BRUNSON

The funeral service for Samuel Osa Brunson of San Rafael, a retired Immigration Service employee, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, San Rafael.

Brunson, 65, died Wednesday at a local convalescent hospital after a long illness.

He retired about five years ago from the San Francisco office of the Immigration Service after 30 years of employment.

During World War II he served three years with the Army Air Corps police. He was a native of Kansas and had formerly lived in Calexico. He had lived in Marin since 1960.

He was a trustee of the United Methodist Church, San Rafael.

Surviving are his wife, Elaine G. Brunson of San Rafael; a son, Duane N. Brunson of Truckee; a brother, Clark Brunson of Chula Vista, San Diego County; a sister, Ollive Hoskins of Boise, Idaho; and one grandson.

The family prefers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
