Mrs. SAUNDERS, Once Postmaster, Dies Last Week
Mrs. MELROSE TUTTLE SAUNDERS, 73, and former assistant under the late William N. ANDERSON in San Rafael, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in San Francisco on September 26. Her husband, John A. SAUNDERS, who died here several years ago, was former Marin County Treasurer.
Mrs. SAUNDERS was a resident of San Rafael for 48 years. Burial took place at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery on September 28.
