MARK PEACOCK
Mark Peacock, formerly of Woodacre, was killed Saturday in an oilfield accident in Augusta, Kans., according to relatives in Marin.
Peacock, 28, was the husband of Vicky Peacock and father of Burgundy and Chanale Peacock, all of Augusta. He was born in Marin and reared in Woodacre, attending Sir Francis Drake High School. He was a veteran of Vietnam combat.
He also is survived by his parents, Robert and Fawn Peacock of Portola, Plumas County, formerly of Woodacre, and a brother, Wayne Peacock of Olema.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Dietz and Carlson funeral chapel, El Dorado, Kans.

The funeral service for Mark Peacock, formerly of Woodacre, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dietz and Carlson Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, Kan.
Peacock, 28, died Saturday in an oilfield accident in Augusta, Kan.
He was born in Marin, raised in Woodacre and attended Sir Francis Drake High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Vicky Peacock and two children, Burgundy and Chanale Peacock, all of Augusta; his parents, Robert and Fawn Peacock of Portola, Plumas County; a brother, Wayne Peacock of Olema; and his grandfather, Loyal Peacock of Fairfax.
