Dies on Peninsula
A bit of the kindly spirit of neighborliness was lost in the death of Mrs. RUTH B. LEWIS on January 1st at the San Mateo home of her daughter, Mrs. Russell HENDRICKS. Mrs. LEWIS, the widow of the late Augustus LEWIS, lived in Larkspur for nearly 40 years, and was greatly loved for her kind helpfulness to all who needed aid.
Funeral services at Gray's in San Francisco were attended by many Marin County friends.
Mrs. LEWIS leaves her daughter, Mrs. HENDRICKS, and 2 brothers, Charles and Stuart DODGE. There are also 3 grandchildren: Ronald, David, and Judy HENDRICKS.
