Young Mother Of Novato Killed In Crash
Mrs. Vincilione, 32, Dies When Hit By Truck

An automobile accident on last Thursday night a short distance north of Novato took another life, when Mrs. Paul Vincilione, 32-year-old wife, and mother of a 7-year-old son, died at Cottage Hospital, several hours after the crash.

Her body was horribly mangled, when her car was struck by a truck, driven by Manuel Augustine, 104 East Court Street, Petaluma, who was driving north on the highway. Mrs. Vincilione, who was alone, was driving into Novato, in the opposite direction. She had left her young son at home, while she started for the library at Novato. She died without regaining consciousness, at 3 o’clock Friday morning.

Mrs. Vincilione was the wife of Paul Vincilione, candidate for Supervisor at the last election. The family resided in San Rafael for a time, but during recent years have been located on a small tract of land near Novato, where they have specialized in the raising of dahlias.

Mrs. Vincilione was a native of California, and besides her husband and young son, is survived by a sister Mrs. Emile Thomas, and a niece, Marion Harold, of Mill Valley.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Keaton and Dusel mortuary, with inurnment at the Berkeley Crematory.
