GERALD MAHONEY
GERALD F. MAHONEY, 52, of 7 Dorcet Lane, Mill Valley, collapsed at home this morning and was taken to Marin General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Assistant County Coroner William C. Bradley said death was due to a liver ailment Mahoney suffered for five years. An autopsy was ordered at Russell & Gooch Mortuary, Mill Valley.
Mahoney worked as a clerk in the Corte Madera Post Office before his illness. A native of Los Angeles, he had lived in Marin 12 years.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret F. MAHONEY, a sister, Mrs. Frank SCHULTZ of San Mateo; and two brothers, Dr. John MAHONEY of New York and Lawrence MAHONEY of Massachusetts.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel, Mill Valley.
