DAVID L. GRATTO
A Mass of Christian burial for David L. Gratto of Kentfield was said Monday at Presentation Convent chapel in San Francisco.
Gratto, 86, died Friday at a local hospital. He had lived in Marin for about 20 years. He was born in San Francisco and had lived much of his life there.
He was a retired chief marine engineer, having gone to sea with Army transport ships.
He also was a member of Ignatian Council of the Young Men’s Institute.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma M. Gratto; two sons, David L. and Leon F. Gratto; two daughters, Mary Ethel Gratto and Theresa M. Mitchell, his sister, Sister Paula Marie, and two grandchildren.
Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Presentation Convent chapel Fund.
