CHARLES (CHILE) McSHEA of Fairfax, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness. He was 60.
Born in San Francisco, he moved to Fairfax 50 years ago.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a merchant seaman after the war and recently worked at the Meadow Club.
Surviving him are a brother, James FOLEY of Terra Linda, and a sister, Claire PETTIT of Concord.
Private funeral was today in San Rafael. He is to be buried in Williamette National Cemetery in Oregon.
The family asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
