JOANNA M. FREEDMAN
A memorial service for Joanna M. Freedman, a five-year resident of Mill Valley, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
She died unexpectedly Sunday at Marin General Hospital. She was 51.
She was a native of Pennsylvania.
She and her husband, Kole, moved to San Francisco 14 years ago. They moved to Tiburon several years later and then to Mill Valley.
Mrs. Freedman was the office manager for Armstrong Kitchen Co. in San Francisco.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jack Lee Smith of Pennsylvania, Rod Smith of Mill Valley and Bruce Smith of Novato; two daughters, Sandi Smith and Jamie Martin, both of Mill Valley, and seven grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the American Heart Association.
