MARIE BAGSHAW
Marie Bagshaw, a longtime resident of Mill Valley, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
She was 73.
Mrs. Bagshaw was born in San Francisco. For 12 years, she worked as a stenographer for Pacific Telephone Co. in San Francisco. There she met Samuel G. Bagshaw, a longtime Mill Valley resident and phone company personnel officer. They were married in 1932 and moved to Mill Valley in the mid-1930s. He retired in 1966 after 41 years with the phone company. She was a member of the Outdoor Art club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Bagshaw of Greenbrae and Patricia Simmons of Mill Valley, and a brother, Edwin Vetter of San Francisco.
No funeral will be held. The family prefers memorial gifts to a favorite charity.
