Funeral For Rogers Baby In Petaluma
Funeral services for James Henry Rogers III, 2-and-one-half-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Rogers, Jr., of Nicasio, will be held at 10:45 tomorrow morning at the chapel of Blackburn and Sorenson, 400 Washington Street, Petaluma, thence to St. Vincent’s church for services at 11 a.m.
Baby James Henry was fatally crushed under the wheels of a truck at his parents’ ranch at Nicasio yesterday, when not knowing the child was underneath, a ranch hand, according to reports, entered to drive away. Rushed to the Ross Hospital, the lad died as Dr. C. C. Everman operated in a vain effort to save his life.
Deceased is survived by his parents, James H. and Ludwina Rogers, his sister, Louise E. Rogers, and Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers of Petaluma, his grandmother. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery, Petaluma.
