MARTHA PERKINS

Martha Perkins, 58, housekeeper and cook for the Vernon Skewes-Cox family in Ross, was found dead in her room at the Skewes-Cox residence.

Deputy coroner Keith C. Craig attributed death to natural causes pending autopsy. Mrs. Perkins had a history of diabetes, Craig said.

Mrs. Perkins, a native of Louisiana, had lived in California 10 years and in Marin for six years. She is survived by her husband, John Perkins, of Richmond.

Funeral is pending at Cooley Funeral Service, Fresno.
