Novato Man Dies in Action
Word has been received by his family of the death of Harold Westlind of Novato, private first class with the Army Transport Command. He was killed in action at Biak. The government advised his wife that details would follow later.
Harold was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Westlind of this place, who also have another son in the armed services.
Besides his wife, Westlind leaves a three-year-old son.
