Mrs. McDonald Dies After Operation
Mrs. Molly McDonald, wife of John McDonald, passed away last Friday at Ritter’s Sanatarium (sic), following an operation performed in a last effort to save her life.
The deceased had a wide circle of friends gathered in her residence of 11 years in San Rafael. The grief stricken husband has the sympathy of his many acquaintances, among whom are the employes (sic) of the Northwestern Pacific Company, for which corporation he has worked for many years as a carpenter.
The funeral under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company, was held Monday afternoon, with services at the McDonald home, and burial in Cypress Lawn cemetery.
Mrs. McDonald was a native of Nova Scotia. She was a member of River View Chapter No. 336, of the Order of the Eastern Star, of Guerneville, of Golden Star Rebekah lodge No. 112. One son, Fraser McDonald, besides the husband, survives the deceased.
