G. W. RAWLINGS

Funeral for George W. Rawlings, 75, of Fairfax, retired photo finishing shop owner, will be held Wednesday in Portland, Ore.

Rawlings died Friday in a local hospital after long illness.

He had been a Marin resident for three and one-half years, making his home at 18 Napa Avenue, Fairfax. Before retirement, he owned and operated a photo finishing shop in Portland, spending 36 years in the photo finishing business.

He was a life member of Portland Lodge 142, B. P. O. Elks, and a veteran of World War I. He was born in England.

Surviving are two sons, Willis J. and Burton W. Rawlings of Beaverton, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Nopp of Fairfax, and a brother, John E. Rawlings of Spokane, Wash.; also five grandchildren.

Burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery in Oregon. The family has requested memorials be contributions to the Children’s Eye Clinic of Portland Lodge 142, B. P. O. Elks.
