GOLDIE M. SANDAHL
A private service will be held Wednesday for Goldie M. Sandahl of San Rafael.
Mrs. Sandahl died in her home Wednesday after a lengthy illness. She was 83.
Interment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
The family prefers contribution to the American Cancer Soceity.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the mother of Julie Meyers; sister of Herbert Pilcher; daughter of Martha Pilcher; grandmother of Scott Dame and Erik Meyers. She was a native of Wisconsin. The death notice also corrects her age to 63 years. The CA Death Index gives her name as Ermgard Martha Sandahl, born April 30, 1916; mother’s maiden name, Boerner, and father’s name, Pilcher.

GOLDIE SANDAHL
A private funeral for Goldie Sandahl, a native of Marin and longtime resident, will be held Wednesday.
Mrs. Sandahl, 63, died at her home in San Rafael Saturday after a long illness.
Her age and date of death were given incorrectly in Monday’s Independent Journal.
She was born and reared in Marin, attending Ross Grammar School and Tamalpais High School. She lived in the county all her life except for several years when she traveled with her husband, who was in the military.
Her husband, Robert Sandahl, died six months ago.
Mrs. Sandahl is survived by her daughter, Julie Meyers of San Francisco; her mother, Martha Pilcher of San Rafael; her brother, Herbert Pilcher of Corte Madera, and two grandsons.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
