DOLORES MARIE QUADROS
A Mass of Christian Burial for Delores Marie Quadros, a longtime Marin resident, will be said at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Hilary’s Church in Tiburon.
Mrs. Quadros died Sunday at the Bayside Convalescent Hospital in Greenbrae. She was 72.
For more than two decades she worked as a cafeteria supervisor for the Sausalito School District. She retired in 1977.
Mrs. Quadros was born and raised in San Francisco. She was a graduate of St. Vincent’s High School in San Francisco.
She and her late husband, Leo Quadros, moved to Marin 46 years ago. They lived in Sausalito and Mill Valley.
Mrs. Quadros belonged to the Young Ladies Institute, the Native Daughters of the Golden West and the Women of the Moose.
She is survived by two daughters, Maureen Mercer of Fairfax and Carol Whetzel of Lompoc, Santa Barbara County, and six grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 8:40 a.m., just prior to the Mass.
Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial donations to St. Hilary’s Church in Tiburon.
