BARBEE GORDON KESSLER
Funeral arrangements for Barbee Gordon Kessler, 69, are pending at Monte’s Mission Chapel in San Rafael.
According to the Marin County coroner’s office, Kessler was found dead Saturday, in his home at 71 Novato St., San Rafael. He was owner of Kessler Marine Co.
He is survived by a daughter, Dana Jones, of Auburn.

A Death Notice in the Feb. 26 paper adds information: he was called Bob; he was survived by daughters Danna (sic) Jones of Auburn and Karen Ann Kessler of Eugene, Ore., and was the brother of Vanessa Wolfe of Hawaii, Billou Jurs of Carmichael and Fritzibeth Kessler of Woodland Hills. He was the grandfather of Brandon Michael Jones of Auburn. He was a native of Sausalito, CA. Memberships included Society of Port Engineers, Indian Valley Men’s Club, Audubon Society, DeYoung Museum Society and Machinists Union in San Francisco.
A second obituary appears in the Feb. 26 issue of the paper. He owned and operated Coastal Marine Engineering Company for 30 years. Inurnment was private.
