EUGENE VANDENBERG
Mill Valley resident

Eugene F. Vandenberg died at the York Miley Veteran’s Administration Hospital.

He was born in Holland, Mich., one of eight brothers and two sisters. He was the last remaining member of his family.

He died May 4.

He was a veteran of the Army and was stationed in Japan. He also served for three years in Italy.

Mr. Vandenburg (sic) worked for the Alhambra Water Co. for 20 years.

He enjoyed gardening and his cat and other animals.

He moved from Torrance to San Anselmo eight years ago and thought that San Anselmo was the most beautiful place on earth.

His ashes will be scattered at sea.
