EUDORA SYLVESTER
A memorial service for Eudora Sylvester, a 40-year resident of Marin County, will be held at 2:15 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in San Rafael.
Miss Sylvester, 82, died in a local convalescent hospital Saturday after a long illness.
A native of Kansas, Miss Sylvester was a 1920 graduate of the University of Tulsa. She taught at one of the first public night schools for adults in the country.
After moving to Marin, Miss Sylvester taught in several county elementary schools.
