ROBERT GIFFORD

Robert Gifford, 52, of Fairfax, who had been self-employed in the marine electronics business, died Monday at a local hospital after an illness.

Gifford had been a resident of Fairfax for five years and was a longtime resident of the Bay Area. He was a native of California.

Surviving are his wife, Colleen Gifford of Fairfax and two sons, Bruce of San Jose and Gary of Portland, Ore.

There was no service and his ashes were scattered at sea.
