HELEN THOMPSON, Mill Valley Clubwoman, Dies At Her Home
Mrs. Helen Meigs Thompson, 69, prominent Mill Valley clubwoman and wife of former supervisor William Thompson, died today at her home, 107 Helen’s lane.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Chapels of Russell and Gooch, Mill Valley. Burial will be at Mt. Tamalpais cemetery.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, David Thompson of Stinson Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Dreyfus, San Francisco; a sister, Mrs. H. H. Eddy of Santa Barbara; a brother, Martin S. Meigs, Concord, Mass.; and three grandchildren, David, Timothy and Jared Dreyfus.
She was a native of New York, but resided at Mill Valley since 1907.
Mrs. Thompson was active in the Outdoor Art Club of Mill Valley and serves as vice-chairman in 1928. She was chairman of several committees of the club. She was also active in Red Cross work and was chairman of the Mill Valley unit, 1930-34.

A Death Notice on page 5 of the same paper states that she was the wife of Frederick Thompson.
