San Francisco Man Is Killed in Auto Crash Near Ross

Guiseppe Bertolino, 28, San Francisco truck contractor, was killed early Friday morning when his automobile crashed into a tree on the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard near the Lagunitas road intersection at Ross.

Bertolino, who was traveling north, is believed to have fallen asleep at the wheel as there were no marks to indicate that his car skidded. Crushed in the wreckage of the machine, he was extricated with difficulty. Dr. Carl W. Clark was called and pronounced him dead. His chest was crushed and his lungs punctured.

The body was taken to the mortuary of Keaton and Dusel and then removed to San Francisco where the funeral was held.
