W.H. GERRAN Dies at Larkspur Home
WILLIAM H. GERRAN, 50, an employee of the United States Customs Office in San Francisco, was stricken with apoplexy, as he was working in the garden of his summer home at Escalle on Sunday afternoon.
He was found dead at the back steps to the house by Dr. and Mrs. George L. Drucker of Yolanda, friends of the Gerrans, whom Mrs. Gerran had called from San Francisco when her husband did not return when she expected.
According to deputy coroner Harry Williams, who investigated the death, Gerran had been ill for some time and his death was not unexpected.
His body was taken to the parlors of Keaton and Dusel.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning from the Mission Dolores Church in San Francisco. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Gerran is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nellie GERRAN, a daughter, Mrs. Harold A. BROWN, and a son, William GERRAN.
