Death Takes Mrs. E. Brooks in 84th Year
Mrs. Esther Brooks, who had recently passed her 84th milestone, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Brayne, in San Anselmo. An invalid for a number of years, Mrs. Brooks h as been critically ill since March 11. She celebrated her birthday on March 1 when Mrs. Brayne gave a party for her.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Brayne, Dr. Roselle Burgess of San Rafael, and Mrs. Hamilton Gubbins of New York, and two sons, E. L. Lane of Calgary and N. W. Lane of Edmonston.
Private funeral services were held this morning at the chapel of Jenness and McElroy in San Anselmo.
