Mrs. Carmen Burgess died at her home in Mill Valley Monday following a short illness. She was the wife of Walter R. Burgess, and mother of Ruth C. Herbert D., Florence E., Eunice M. and Lita C. Burgess, and sister of Mrs. Lupie Mosquedo and Adele Scobel, a native of Mexico aged 29 years, 10 months. Friends attended the funeral services today at 9:30 o’clock a.m. at Mount Carmel Church, Mill Valley, where mass was celebrated for the repose of her soul.
