Coast Resident Found Dead in Showcase

SAMUEL ARMSTRONG, age 55, who has been a resident of Pt. Reyes Station for the past 15 years, died under peculiar circumstances on Monday night.

Sometime during the night, he had lain down in a showcase in the front of Adams & Scilacci's store, and his body was discovered at 5:30, Tuesday morning by W.J. Scilacci, proprietor of the store as he was opening up for business.

Coroner J. Ray Keaton was notified, and the body was removed to Keaton and Dusel undertaking parlors.

The remains were sent to Petaluma for burial, arrangements for which were made by Frank GORDON, a cousin of the deceased.
