MARION J. TEAGUE
Mill Valley resident
Marion Jacoby Teague of Mill Valley, a homemaker who served as an adopted mom to many, died of cancer July 14 at her home. She was 78.
She was born in Detroit Lakes, Minn. She attended business school. She was a Marin resident for 52 years.
Mrs. Teague enjoyed bottle collecting, creweling, hiking, birdwatching, reading and gardening. She was described by her family as a generous person with a warm spirit who will be missed by many people who adopted her as their “mom.”
Mrs. Teague is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harold W. Teague of Mill Valley; two sons, Michael Teague of Sebastopol and Timothy Teague of Novato; two brothers, John Jacoby and Frank Jacoby, both of Detroit Lakes; two sisters, Margaret Jacoby of Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Katherine Keyes of Bernidji, Minn.; three grandsons, Colin, Mathew and Christopher.
No service is planned.
