GERMON MEDEIROS
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Rose Church in Santa Rosa for Germon R. Medeiros who died Sunday in a Santa Rosa hospital following a long illness. He was 55.
A native of Massachusetts, he was the son of Rose Medeiros Martin of Novato.
He came to California as a young man and was employed as a dairyman. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Society of Marin and Sonoma and a member of the Petaluma Elks Lodge. He had lived in Sonoma county for the past 18 years.
Beside his mother he is survived by his wife, Irene, of Santa Rosa; six sons, Jerry, James, Steven, Stanley and George Medeiros, all of Santa Rosa, and Danny Medeiros of Sonoma; a daughter, Rosemary Medeiros of Petaluma; six brothers, Jaide Medeiros and Hele Medeiros, both of Novato; Walter Medeiros of Petaluma, Frank Medeiros of Sonoma, Earl Medeiros of Fresno and Tony Medeiros of San Francisco; a sister, Lorinda Duffy of Petaluma; and seven grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. today at Lafferty and Smith Chapel, Santa Rosa. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Heart Association.
