LLOYD L. GILBERT
Private services were held yesterday at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home for Lloyd L. Gilbert who died Saturday at a local convalescent hospital at the age of 84.
He was a native of Helena, Montana and grew up there. He spent most of his life in Prescott, Arizona where he was last employed as manager of a hardware store.
He moved to Novato ten years ago and made his home at 40 Paladini Road.
He was a veteran of World War I and was past exalted ruler of the Prescott Elks Club. He was also a member of the Elks Club of San Rafael.
Surviving is a sister, Florence M. Chapman of Novato. Inurnment will be in Urbana, Illinois.
