SYLVESTER CASTALDI
Funeral arrangements are pending at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin for Sylvester J. Castaldi who died t his morning at Novato Community Hospital following a short illness. He was 75.
A native of New York, he was a retired salesman for Crane Company plumbing supplies in San Francisco. He had lived in Novato for the past 16 years making his home at 1300 Yukon Way.
He was a member of the Novato Senior Citizens and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife, Elvira, of Novato; two sons, Luke Bennett, of Santa Clara, and Andrew Bennett of San Jose; a daughter, Diana Gomez of San Francisco, and a sister, Rose Weatherly, of San Mateo.
Memorial contributions to the Heart Fund are preferred by the family.
